California native, New Jersey ambassador
A recent first-time home buyer, Amy Brown knows the value of partnering with a knowledgeable agent who understands her clients' needs and takes the time to guide them through the home buying or selling process.
I'm especially excited to work with first-time buyers and those making the move from out of state. Having relocated several times, I know it helps to have a beacon on the other side looking out for you. Our realtor was that beacon for us.
Amy and her family lived in the Bay Area when they chose South Orange/Maplewood (SOMA) for their next chapter—and they haven't looked back. "New Jersey has so much to offer, particularly for families, and I'm thrilled to help others find their home in SOMA or one of its fabulous neighboring towns," said Brown. A 20-year career in film and television as a producer and editor shaped a skill set that will help Amy serve her clients. "The demands of media production require that you perform skillfully and collaboratively under the pressure of a deadline. You must be a problem solver and a tenacious taskmaster. Effective communication is central."
Amy studied Architecture History & Theory at Barnard College/Columbia University and has a second grader in SOMA's district elementary. In her downtime, she's trying to wear out her Boston Terrier, planning her family's next adventure, or playing board games at The Baird.
