We used Victoria Carter to both buy and sell our residence in South Orange. Meeting her was our lucky day. On the moving-in side, Victoria found us a property that we were able to successfully bid on before its debut open house, saving us the worry and expense of a bidding war during the aggressive real estate market of the early 2000s.

When it came time to sell, the market had slowed. Victoria immediately laid out a plan that encompassed necessary cosmetic improvements to the house and yard (and she shared names of great contractors to get the job done quickly) and a timeline that put us on the market just as buyers were interested. She expertly negotiated between two bidders and steered the deal through the closing.

Perhaps the strongest endorsement we can give Victoria is that she is the realtor we called for advice as we looked at houses in our new location—3000 miles away. While our California realtor was good, she in no way offered the support, honest advocacy and smart advice that Victoria did from afar. The advice Victoria gave us pulled us away from a problem property and nudged us toward the house that has proven to be the better choice for us…which is a lot more that the local realtor was willing to do.
