Recreation, parks and things to do in northern New Jersey
When you buy a home, you are choosing a community, a neighborhood, and often a place to raise children. You may want to know whether there is a community center, town pool, recreation sports or nearby YMCA with summer camps? What about county facilities or sports leagues, playgrounds and ball fields? The Victoria Carter Team has created a Recreation Grid to answer some of these questions and connect you to information on the many family-friendly parks and recreation options in northern New Jersey.
You can compare recreation programs and parks in the towns of Berkeley Heights, Chatham, Livingston, Madison, Maplewood, Millburn, Montclair, New Providence, Short Hills, South Orange, Springfield, Summit, Westfield and West Orange. The Recreation Grid has information about community pools, township recreation programming and events, a neighboring YMCA or county facilities. Search by keyword such as “Summit” or “golf.” Also use the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the table to move from left to right.
