Katy Roessle joined the team in 2013 as Victoria Carter’s Personal Assistant and Lead Transaction Coordinator. Katy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Studies from Ohio Wesleyan and attended graduate school in business administration in Boston before marrying her college sweetheart and moving to New Jersey. Over 30 plus years she has been a resident of Madison, Millburn, and for the past 23 of those years, Summit. While raising her two children she kept up her business skills by working part-time for various local businesses as an administrative assistant – for The Connection for Women & Children, Summit she worked as a website designer and administrator; for Commercial Design Group and Something Special Interior’s as an office administrator and design assistant; for Claremont Realty Group as full time office administrator and transaction processor.
In addition to being a licensed Realtor, Katy’s previous experiences in a variety of fields and specifically in real estate have given her the skills to properly and efficiently manage and work closely with the Victoria Carter Team. From contract to closing Katy is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the transaction. Working with clients, attorneys and agents on both sides of either a listing or a sale to make sure transactions stay on track for closing is her primary daily objective. Coordination is the name of her game, and the high volume of listings and sales provided by the Victoria Carter Team has given Katy an edge to stand out amongst the team and keep her on her game! Karen Cummins is a Buyer’s Specialist for the Victoria Carter team and has been a resident of New Jersey since 1990. She started her real estate career in March 2011 and by June of the same year, had already sold her first home. Karen prides herself on her expertise in the northern New Jersey train line towns: Maplewood, South Orange, Millburn, Short Hills, Summit, Montclair, Chatham and Madison.
A native New Yorker, Karen received a BA in Liberal Arts from Queens College. Later, she moved to Short Hills where she raised her two sons, and it is a town she still calls home.
With an extensive background in the garment industry, Karen has a discerning eye for quality, value and design, and she brings her savvy negotiating skills to the real estate market. The garment industry refined her organizational strengths and ability to manage transactions with many moving parts. She is known for her willingness to listen and strong communication skills.

Donna Schafer is Victoria Carter’s Marketing Assistant and New Listing Coordinator. She’s been working in real estate with Victoria for the past 13 years and has been a valuable asset to the team. As the Victoria Carter team continues to grow, Donna manages the team’s multiple websites and marketing tactics. She is responsible for compiling the team’s CMAs, listing paperwork and coordinating photos, floor plans, signage, and the marketing of new listings. She also manages, updates, and handles all of Victoria Carter’s internet marketing. Advertising for the Victoria Carter business is one of her top priorities.
Donna has not only been a great help in regard to marketing and the websites, but she has also been able to pitch in across many different areas. No matter what the task, Donna has been able to adapt and step in to help. She has always had a strong commitment to customer service and a willingness to help others no matter what the circumstances.

Monica Alpert is a Home Buyer Specialist for the Victoria Carter Team. She currently resides in Short Hills and is highly in touch with the local real estate market trends. Monica has lived in several cities including Los Angeles, CA, Charlotte, NC, and Lima, Peru. Having relocated several times throughout her life, Monica understands the stress that is involved in buying or selling a home as well as settling into a new community. Monica has over 12 years of combined real estate experience as a Realtor and as a homebuilder. During her time as a homebuilder, she built over 60 custom homes in Charlotte, NC. Her attention to detail, organization and perseverance led her to have a very successful business.

Laurie Nesser, formerly a sole practitioner, joined the Victoria Carter team in 2014. As a Home Buyer Specialist and resident of Short Hills she is highly involved with the local community and real estate market trends. Laurie has lived in three distinct areas of NYC (the Lower-East-Side, Murray Hill and the Upper-East-Side where her family maintains an apartment. Deborah Millman is an experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated real estate agent who always puts her clients first! Amy is a native of New Jersey; she was born and raised in Monmouth County. After living in New York City for 15 years, Amy and her husband moved to New Jersey where they are raising their daughter. After moving to Maplewood with his husband in 2013 from Jersey City, Arden discovered his passion for real estate and has been helping clients to realize their home search goals since 2014.

She is a long time resident of South Orange and is the proud mother of 3 children who all attend school in the South Orange/Maplewood school district. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Pennsylvania. After graduating from Franklin and Marshall College with a BA in economics and a minor in psychology, she moved to New York City. Kathy worked on Wall Street and then on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange as a specialist trading assistant for a decade. After taking time off to raise children she turned toward her true love…. Real estate! Kathy’s strengths include being able to learn about what her client really wants and then translating that into the right home. She works tirelessly to find the right home for her clients.
For fun Kathy enjoys playing tennis, book club and being with her family and pets which include a dog and a bearded dragon. In the community, she also is the Director of Christian Education at the Wyoming Presbyterian Church in Millburn, NJ and a Girl Scout leader.

Allen received a degree in Sports Therapy and Management from Wingate Institute in 1997. He has worked as a personal trainer and physical therapist, and he thrives on the opportunity to help others. A former diehard Brooklynite, Trisha relocated to Montclair, New Jersey, from the San Diego area in 2016. The move exposed her to a wide variety of houses and gave her practical experience in highly competitive housing markets on both coasts.
An alumnus of Sarah Lawrence College with a Masters in Early Education, Trisha has spent a lifetime in the arts and a decade teaching in New York City public schools. A New Jersey native, Diane has lived in Springfield for over 3 decades. Diane attended Rutgers University and studied business. Before being a Realtor, she was an administrative assistant for several businesses. After receiving her real estate license in 1992, Diane found a niche is residential home sales. A concerned citizen and real estate professional, she held many leadership positions on the north Central Jersey Association Board of Realtors. She is also a notary public, a role that is helpful to many clients. All proceeds from Diane’s notary work are donated to the Valerie Fund.
In her free time, she attends broadway shows, enjoys reading, music, traveling and sports. Married to Vic for over 40 years, she has a daughter, a son and 6 grandchildren.
